Ad Details

Your business profile page should provide more information about your business to help potential customers further understand what you are offering and determine if they should call you. For tips on writing your business details, please see our Pay Per Call Ad Guidelines. Your business profile page includes business details and callable hours, and you can also choose to display a logo, payment options and a coupon.

What are Callable Hours?
The Callable Hours associated with a Pay Per Call ad are displayed on the business profile page and are also used to schedule when your ad should be "active". To learn more about scheduling, please see the Ad Status and Scheduling in the Ad Manager section.

Why should I include the optional information on my business profile page?
Including optional information - such as your business' logo, payment options or coupons - can encourage potential customers to call and differentiate you from your competition. Any of this information can be added by clicking on the check box next to the item you'd like to provide and entering the appropriate details. Leaving the boxes unchecked will exclude the information from your profile page.

How do I upload my logo?
Use the Browse button to select the logo file you want to upload. (Your logo should be no larger than 180 pixels wide by 80 pixels high and should be in a BMP, GIF or JPEG file format.) Once you've selected your logo, click "Upload Logo." This may take up to one minute to load. Please note that if you change or edit your logo after your ad is created, it will need to be reviewed by Ingenio before it will appear.

Can I qualify an offer I make in the ad marketing message?
You can qualify offers made in the ad marketing message by using the coupon on the business profile page. Simply create a coupon and put all offer details in the coupon description or limitations. Keep in mind that the coupon headline may also get displayed alongside your ad marketing message, so you may want to keep the headlines worded differently to maximize your potential impact.

How do I place a coupon in my profile?
You can place a coupon in your profile during the ad creation process, by entering a coupon headline, description and expiration date (if any).

What happens when a coupon in my ad expires?
If you set an expiration date on your coupon, it will no longer be displayed when it expires. Your coupon can be edited on the business profile page, where you can update the expiration date to display it again. To prevent a coupon from expiring, select the "No Expiration" checkbox when creating the coupon. Whether or not your coupon is being displayed, consumers will still see your offer (if you've chosen to include one) in your ad marketing message.

Where will the coupon be displayed?
The coupon will be displayed on your business profile page, which is what a user sees after they click through to your ad.

What happens when a coupon in my ad expires?
Any coupon that expires will automatically be removed from your profile. To prevent a coupon from expiring, select the "No Expiration" checkbox when creating the coupon.

Can I enhance the text in my business details?
Yes. Using the Rich Text Editor on the business profile page you can enhance your description with elements such as boldface and italic type, as well as formatting. Your business details can run approximately 1,000 characters. In Explorer, pressing "enter" at the end of a line will start a new paragraph with which you can the format with bold, italics, bullets, numbers and changes to alignment. If you would prefer to not have lines of text separated as new paragraphs, press "Ctrl - Enter."

Which browsers support the Rich Text Editor?
The Rich Text Editor for the business details section is supported by Internet Explorer for Windows (Version 5.0 or newer) or any recent Mozilla Browser (e.g., Firefox, Netscape). You can download Internet Explorer for free at www.microsoft.com/ie or Mozilla browsers for free at http://www.mozilla.org. Currently, no other browser types support the Rich Text Editor.
